An exhibition which explore the heritage of the neighbourhood store is touring the West Midlands.

The Corner Shop project, organised by Black Country Touring and Foresight Theatre with English Heritage, is built on the stories of shopkeepers over the past 60 years. English Heritage's Suzanne Carter said: "The corner shop is an important window on our social history which we have tried to capture in this exhibition. It has been a landmark of the community for as long as we can remember and the diversity of products sold reflects our changing world."

The exhibition runs until November in West Midlands galleries. See the dates here
