The magazine market has another food title to join the throng. New launch Saveur travels the globe, connecting readers with the history and traditions of all types of cuisine.
The publishers say the magazine is about "real food, real places and real people, with a story behind every dish".
Issue one, on sale October 4, includes a free covermounted Classics recipe book. The magazine will be published nine times a year, with a cover price of £3.95.
Distributor Comag advises retailers to display Saveur within the women's interest, cookery and kitchen section.
