The Scottish Grocers Federation has called for responsible retailing of alcohol and the need for a free proof-of-age card to top Scottish MPs' agendas ahead of the country's elections in May.
The SGF has also launched a manifesto calling for MSPs to "tackle spiralling retail crime, protect town centres and promote healthy eating in every Scottish community".
SGF chief executive John Drummond said: "Policing the sale of alcohol and other age- restricted products is the number-one threat to our business. Staff need and deserve the protection that a comprehensive proof-of-age card will provide them."
