Entry to Convenience Store’s Sales Assistant of the Year Awards 2012 is now open, so if you have a super hero in your store, then we want to hear about it.
Hosted by Eurovision winner and TV personality Cheryl Baker, the awards take place at The Dorchester Hotel in Mayfair, London, on November 13 and celebrate the very best sales assistants in the UK convenience sector.
Awards will be given to those who not only provide service with a smile, but who are really going the extra mile to improve their stores. They might be involved in organising community events that raise the store’s profile, or perhaps they’re a whizz when it comes to category management and clever merchandising. If you have someone working for you who really makes a difference to your business, then give them the recognition they deserve and put them forward for our prestigious awards.
The best five entries will be picked from the following categories: Independent, Independent Symbol, Multiple Symbol, Co-operative and Multiple, and Forecourt.
Convenience Store and the Awards supporters – JTI, P&G, Coca-Cola Enterprises, and Mars Chocolate – will then interview each finalist on the morning of the awards and choose the overall winner. Each finalist will receive a £500 prize, and there will be an additional £250 prize for the Community Hero Award. The overall winner will receive a further £500, and their manager will be awarded £250 for entering them.
To enter, simply go to www.salesassistantawards.co.uk and fill in our entry form, which includes six questions to be answered by your sales assistant. Or contact the events team at firstname.lastname@example.org or 01293 610422 for further information.
The deadline for entries is August 17.
