Nisa has launched a range of Heritage Gourmet sausages as it continues the roll out of its revamped own label offer.

The range of sausages, made from premium cuts of British port, will be priced at two packs for £5, offering a margin of 20% at 100% redemption for retailers.

The new-look own brand range includes Heritage Pantry, a value range of everyday essentials, Heritage, “offering big brand quality at a great price”, and Heritage Gourmet, which Nisa describes as a range of affordable treats that offer affordable luxury.

Sales of a recently-launched range of Heritage pies and pastries have risen by 50% across Nisa’s 2,500 stores, the group said.

Commenting on the launch Ian Bishop, marketing director of Nisa said: “The new Heritage range offers great taste and value from your local shop. We are proud of the new Gourmet range, which we believe stands the taste test against the best on the market.”

Every Heritage product purchased from a Nisa store helps to raise money for Making a Difference Locally, Nisa’s charity which has raised more than £3.3m since its launch.
