Palmer & Harvey McLane, the UK's biggest wholesaler, has named Chris Etherington as its new chief executive.
Etherington will join P&H this week from his role as managing director of Unipart Automotive. He has more than 30 years' experience in wholesale and retail distribution, most notably as managing director for Northern Europe at Alliance Unichem.
Christopher Adams will continue in his role as chairman, while the company's current group managing director Graham McPherson will take up the role of deputy chairman.
