Scottish retail group David Sands has given the residents of Cardenden, Fife a say in the redesign of their local store.
Convenience consultant HIM held focus groups with shoppers and the opinions of the two groups of eight regular customers was then used as a basis for the store's £250,000 refit.
Managing director David Sands said: "The feedback helped us tailor the store to the needs of our customers. For example, they told us that they wanted a wider choice of better quality fresh fruit and vegetables, more healthy products, a much bigger range of chilled products, plus more locally sourced lines."
