A retailer remains critically ill in hospital after he was shot outside his c-store in Whitehall, Bristol. The 39-year-old was found outside the Neath Road Convenience Store, bleeding heavily. Police are looking for two men in connection with the shooting.
The attack came five days after an attempted burglary at the store which led to two arrests. A forensic search of the store is continuing and police have issued an appeal for two women seen in the area to come forward.

A Huddersfield-based retailer and his 73-year-old mother suffered a sickening attack after two masked men, armed with a gun, hammer and two bricks, demanded cash from his store’s till.
