Spar wholesaler for South Wales and the South East Capper & Co plans to add 26 forecourt stores to its books in the next seven months.
To support the development, a newly appointed retail forecourt specialist, Mark Dempsey, will oversee the forecourt estate. He will take charge of the company's 84 forecourt sites.
Bosses also plan to increase the company's c-store numbers beyond the current 400.
Commenting on Dempsey's appointment, sales director Bryan Walters said: "I am sure that Mark will make a significant impact to our sales team. I am confident that our forecourt retailers will benefit."
