Cash machine raiders strike at Hatton Nisa store

Derbyshire Contabulary have released this CCTV footage of a raid at the Nisa store in Hatton, in which a group of men used a digger to smash and grab a cash machine from a wall.

It said: “The gang struck at the store in Station Road in the early hours of Thursday, August 3.

After obliterating the wall, they hoisted the cash machine up and onto a waiting trailer attached to the back of a 4x4.

Our officers arrived at the scene as the gang started to flee, and one thief threw a metal bar at the officers before making off.

We want to hear from anyone who has information that could help detectives investigating the offence.

Do you know anyone with a 4x4 or trailer? Did you see suspicious vehicles or the digger in the area around 2.30am on August 3?

If you can help, call us on 101 and quote reference 17000330482.

You can also call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”
