I live in Dublin, Ireland. After numerous phone calls, I still have had no response. My concerns are that JPS blue ( originally Black ) have done away with the golden circle on the filter, and the style of lettering for JPS on the cigarette has changed. After returning from Germany, Austria and Spain this Summer, all the JPS I bought were as original. My concern is that I could be smoking Chinese rip offs here in Ireland.

At the same time they introduced plain packaging the formulation was changed and has a nasty taste and smell. I believe the tobacco companies and the government are lying to us - at the same time the tar and nicotine levels were deleted to disguise the fact - and it wouldn't surprise me if it turns out we're not buying a tobacco product at all, but a substitute.
It's all very well changing the names etc but what about the missing nicotine / tar levels information? Surely this is one of the most important aspects of cigarettes, and to us British people that have to put up with this ridiculous bland packaging, we have no knowledge of what we are smoking anymore . I'm looking to change to a milder cigarette but I have no idea what strength any of them are .

In so disgusting that not only have ye changed the packaging,but ye have changed the taste and reduced the nicotine strength in the JSP reds, I pay 10:80 for them!! How dare ye charge people that price for cigarettes that have a completely different disgusting taste..fake tobacco FFS in going mad without a decent smoke
