Paul, You are right - the living wage, the increase in the minimum wage, workplace pensions, hidden displays of tobacco, white packaging on cigs, the end of small packs of cigs and tobacco, tobacco licensing of tobacco sales, massive taxation of e-cigs, the on going onslaught of discount stores, the relentless growth of the internet and home delivery, Amazon entering the home delivery of convenience foods, the stupid growth rate of retail footage and the supermarket wars, and the greed of the government in its unacceptable levy of business rates, along with obnoxious taxes, per se the sugar tax - all bode problems for the status quo.

We will see massive structural change in retail trade in the next 5 years. Whole towns and high streets will collapse.

I feel Costcutter is best placed to meet the challenges!!!!
