Goodfella’s is launching a new range of price marked packs.

Top up and meal for tonight missions are key for convenience shoppers, with value for money being an important driver. Price marked packs remain strong in all categories for convenience retailers and frozen food is no different. HIM reserach has shown 85% of convenience retailers believe their customers like price marked packs with 76% of shoppers buying them all or some of the time as they percieve them as similar/cheaper to the rrp giving them confidence they are getting value for money.

With freezer space sometimes limited in convenience stores, the new range has been kept simple, available in cheese and pepperoni variants across the key, best selling sub-categories in the range in line with the most popular flavours in frozen pizza. New and exclusive for convenience retailers will be the 5” deep dish twin packs which are key in the channel to satisfy shoppers’ snacking and light meal needs. In addition to these, the range consists of:

  • · Goodfella’s Stonebaked Thin, £1.99, Pepperoni & Margherita
  • · Goodfella’s Deep Pan, £1.99, Pepperoni & Deliciously Cheese
  • · Goodfella’s Takeaway, £2.50, Fully Loaded Pepperoni & The Big Cheese
  • · Goodfella’s Deep Dish, £1.79 (twin pack), Pepperoni & Margherita

The new price marked packs will be available from the end of September for convenience retailers to stock from Palmer & Harvey, Booker, Nisa, Bestway/Batley’s and other frozen wholesalers.
