Mondelez International has launched its Christmas confectionery range for 2014.

In an effort to improve on its market-beating 6.3% growth in value for the festive season last year, it has unveiled a raft of NPD for Christmas.

In its self-eat range and available from September Mondelez has added a Cadbury Dairy Milk (CDM) Mousse Snowman Chocolate and given its CDM Winter Wonderland and Freddo Popping Candy new festive makeovers for 2014.

It has also added a choice of 90g and 170g advent calendars. The Hollow Santa and Snowman novelties have also been relaunched under the CDM brand while Marvellous Jelly Popping Candy has been added to the Cadbury stocking selection box. The brand’s tube range is also being expanded to include Bitsa Wispa, Buttons and Freddo Face.

On the sharing side of things, Mini Wispa has been added to the Cadbury Heroes tub while tubs of Roses and Terry’s Chocolate Orange Sensations have been redesigned.

There will also be a new bag of Terry’s Orange Exploding Candy Mini’s. The Terry’s range will see a further addition with the limited edition Milk Toffee Crunch ball.

Toblerone will have limited edition festive sleeves while there will be a new 60g single Toblerone triangle available on a 12-unit clip strip. In the inlaid chocolate sector, Cadbury Milk Tray and Terry’s All Gold have new box designs.

It’s not just in chocolate that Mondelez is growing its Christmas confectionery range. Its candy lines are also being extended for the holiday season. In 2014 Maynards Christmas Jellies will feature Santa, Rudolph and penguin variants.

Its Bassetts range will also be increased with two new giant gifting jars - Bertie Bassett and Bubbles the yellow Jelly Baby -  available for Christmas. Cartons of Maynards Sports Mix, Bassetts Jelly Babies, Maynards Wine Gum and Cadbury Eclairs will all see refreshed pack designs for this Christmas.
