Pentraeth Spar in Gwynedd has re-opened for business just four weeks after it was completely destroyed by fire.

With the help of Blakemore Trade Partners, Jill and Paul Lewis have managed to set up a temporary store on the driveway of the next -door house, which they own, and have set to work rebuilding the store.

Jill said: “I was really impressed by the speed of response from Blakemore Trade Partners.

“The incident really highlighted the benefits of backing from a strong symbol group. Without the support of Blakemore Trade Partners and the stock loan they provided our forecourt could have been closed for months, but the whole site was back trading after just four weeks.”

Plans are now underway to rebuild the permanent store with a Subway and post office.
