Musgrave GB has appointed a new trading director for Budgens and Londis in a management shake-up.

Andrew Kendall will take up the role from 31 March. He has previously held positions at 2 Sisters Food Group, Dairy Crest, Uniq, Somerfield and Boots.

Budgens and Londis managing director Donal Horgan welcomed Kendall to Musgrave. “We are delighted that Andrew has chosen to join the Budgens and Londis teams,” he said. “With over 25 years of relevant experience and supplier insight, Andrew’s vast experience will help enhance our supplier partnerships further and continue to develop the offer for Budgens and Londis retailers.”

Musgrave also announced a new retail director role - to be filled by current Budgens sales director John Pattison - that will have sales responsibility for both the Budgens and Londis brands. Pattison will be supported by two other new roles - Jon Bleeze, current head of sales will become operations director of Budgens, and Simon Palmer has been recruited as Londis operations director.

Palmer was previously commercial director of retail at Rontec where he led their forecourt network.

Horgan added: “It is testament to the quality of the retailers who choose to partner with us and the strength of the Budgens and Londis brands, that individuals with such significant retail experience have chosen to join us.”
