Cash management solutions company Loomis has announced a partnership with crime reporting website Facewatch.

Loomis commercial director Stuart Bartlett said that Facewatch has already been recognised as an invaluable tool in deterring crime given the well-documented cuts in police resources.

“The system has already been introduced in Cheshire and London and the early results have been impressive with a vast improvement in solved crimes and the amount of time saved in reporting,” he said.

Bartlett added that the partnership with Facewatch would benefit Loomis customers who are keen to deter crime and want to be able to report it quicker. It will be offering both new and existing customers the Facewatch service as part of its extended solutions offering.

“Working with Facewatch is further demonstration of our desire to provide customers with the  latest, most efficient systems to tackle low-level crime,” added Bartlett.

Facewatch chairman Simon Gordon said that working with Loomis will “open new opportunities” and that it will go a long way to “beating crime”.
