Londis is offering a £15,000 bonus to the first five retailers to join the group in its latest recruitment drive.

The campaign, already underway, targets nearly 1,000 retailers via direct mail with the first five to sign up receiving a £15,000 bonus, which can be spent on stock, equipment, store branding or marketing support.

The mailer, which is shaped like an ice lolly, follows two earlier recruitment drives in 2015, a £50,000 store development competition launched in February and a ‘Bring a Friend and win’ campaign launched in June.

Londis brand director John Pattison said: “This is the third phase of our 2015 recruitment strategy, targeting independent retailers who have the potential to become part of the Londis family. It’s a much more light-hearted approach for this campaign but with a serious offer - to work with a best in class convenience store with competitive prices and award winning ranges.”
